Meet Our Board of Directors

Alex Austin

Born and raised in Colorado, Alex Austin graduated from Metropolitan State University with a B.S. in Business Management. He has since worked in the Banking industry for 12 years, with a primary focus on Cash/Treasury Management. In his free time, Alex enjoys hiking, traveling internationally, and spending time with family and friends. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Shaka Franklin Foundation for Youth, a non-profit focusing on suicide prevention for inner city youth and scholarships for students living with mental health issues.

Bridget Haith

Bridget Haith is the owner and CEO of Talent Navigation Experts (TNE), a Colorado-based recruiting firm specializing in Information Technology placements. Bridget and her husband, Ryan, founded TNE in 2012. Her previous professional positions include: Director of Human Resources for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Senior Compensation Analyst for EMSC, and Human Resources Manager for Lincoln Plating in Lincoln, NE. Bridget earned a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and moved to Colorado in 2005.

Beth Lackey

Beth Lackey serves as the Vice President, Customer Care Operations Support at Comcast. Ms. Lackey is responsible for customer care strategy and support to residential and business operations centers located throughout the west.
She holds a B.A. in Marketing from Colorado State University and an MBA from Regis University in International Business.
Ms. Lackey is a long-time resident of Littleton, CO. She lives there with her husband, Cliff, and their 2 Great Pyrenees. In addition, she has two adult children, Hannah and Jonah.
Beth joined the SungateKids Board of Directors in 2013.

Adam Saenger

Adam Saenger serves as Vice President Product Management for CenturyLink, leading amulti-billion dollar portfolio of advanced networking, data center, cloud solutions, andstrategic alliances. Adam has been with the company for nearly 20 years having heldexecutive leadership positions in acquired companies Level 3 Communications (leadingGlobal Product Development) and TW Telecom (leading the company’s advancedsolutions and development organizations). He holds a B.S. in Finance and a Minor inCommunications from the University of Northern Colorado, with added ExecutiveEducation Leadership & Management Certification from Denver University, andInternational Business from the University of Queensland (Queensland, Australia).

Stuart Crenshaw

Stuart Crenshaw is Chief Counsel, Corporate Transactions, Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Ethics Officer for TTEC Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEC), a global customer experience company that designs, builds, and operates omnichannel customer experiences on behalf of some of the world’s most innovative brands. Prior to TTEC, Stuart was Senior Counsel for Colorado-based CH2M (now Jacobs Engineering); and an associate at Morrison Foerster working in its District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, and Denver offices from 2000–2008. Stuart holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctorate degree from the George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School.

James McDonald

Originally from British Columbia, James McDonald has over two decades of experience in tax, audit and consulting, and serves as CFO of Tryba Architects in Denver.  He has worked with numerous start-up entities, not-for-profit entities, high net worth families, and established operating businesses in a financial capacity, including capital/fundraising, financial management and compliance.  In his little free time, James is an avid golfer and enjoys family time and the Colorado outdoors.  In addition to his role with SungateKids, James serves as a Board member of Colorado Miners, Inc. and as Treasurer of the Detroit Fitness Foundation.

Mary Beth McGrath

Mary Beth McGrath joined Great-West Financial|Empower Retirement in 2018 as Vice President, Talent Management. In her role, Ms. McGrath is responsible for creating and leading the company’s talent management strategy, including talent acquisition, talent development and organizational learning, corporate social responsibility and inclusion. Prior to joining Great-West Financial|Empower Retirement, Ms. McGrath held various HR leadership positions at Level 3 Communications, First Data Corporation and PepsiCo.
Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of New Haven.
Originally from Connecticut, Mary Beth currently lives in Evergreen, Colorado with her husband, Tom, and their 2 dogs. She enjoys taking advantage of Colorado’s outdoor activities, especially hiking, golfing and skiing.

Michelle Weinraub

Michelle Weinraub is the Director of Health Services for Cherry Creek Schools. She is a registered nurse, former social worker and loves working with kids and families.
A not-quite native of Colorado (20+ years), she and her kind and funny husband, Mitch, have two kind and funny daughters, Miriam and Hannah Meg.

Jason Ficken

Jason Ficken has more than 20 years of merger, acquisition, and capital raising experience.
Prior to founding Quadriga, he formed the Healthcare Group at Headwaters MB, leading a team focused on buyside, sellside, and capital raising initiatives exclusively in healthcare services. Jason joined Headwaters from Morgan Stanley, where he concentrated on M&A execution. Prior to his time at Morgan Stanley, Jason worked for Koch Industries, Inc. in the company’s private equity and M&A groups. He received a B.B.A. in Finance from Wichita State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He lives in Denver with his wife and three children.

Eric Jaramillo

Eric Jaramillo is an Account Executive with Nokia, previously Alcatel-Lucent, where he has worked for more than 20 years in various capacities and locations.  Eric’s deep-seated devotion to SungateKids traces back to his childhood.  Originally from Cali, Colombia, Eric witnessed extreme poverty in a country where too many children ended up on the streets.  As a teen, he and his family moved to New York; he later attended SUNY-Albany, where he received B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics.  Eric moved to Denver in 2003, but he has never forgotten those children in Cali – and they inspire him to support the mission and the work of SungateKids

Marc Willency

Mr. Willency joined the Board of SungateKids after many years as an ardent supporter. He first got to know the organization through his work with tw telecom, Inc., formerly Time Warner Telecom Inc., where he spent 18 years as Senior Vice President of Customer Operations leading network operations, customer care, field services, outside plant construction and had responsibility for the company’s customer experience strategy.

 

When tw telecom was acquired by Level 3 Communications, Mr. Willency served as GVP for Customer Solutions and Enablement. In 2015, Mr. Willency became the CEO and Director of Integra Telecom/ Electric Lightwave, the largest fiber-based network services provider in the western United States. In March of 2017, Mr. Willency successfully completed the sale of Integra/ Electric Lightwave to the Zayo Group for $1.24 Billion.

Mr. Willency currently serves as an advisor to several technology-enabled companies that operate within the telecom and cloud sectors. He also is an active coach and mentor in Colorado’s ice hockey community.

Craig Wilson

Craig Wilson has nearly 25 years experience in the practice of law, with extensive experience in healthcare and corporate law and in April of 2010, Craig was named General Counsel of Envision Healthcare. He joined the company’s EmCare subsidiary as corporate counsel in 2000, and later served in that position for Envision Healthcare from 2005–2010. Before joining the company, Mr. Wilson was an attorney in private practice from 1993–2000. He earned a B.S. in Business and Political Science from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
