SungateKids’ three annual fundraisers are our single largest source of unrestricted funding.

Thumbs Up for SungateKids!

The 2021 Thumbs Up for SungateKids campaign was a huge success!  During the campaign, 11 teams competed against each other to see who could raise the most money. On Thursday, July 29th we celebrated a fundraising total in excess of $130,000 at Topgolf Centennial.

The 2022 Thumbs Up for SungateKids campaign will open for registration in Mid-May and end with a celebration at Topgolf on June 16th.  A link to register a team or donate to a team is coming soon!

Lumen Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting SungateKids

We’re thrilled to announce that  the Lumen Charity Golf Tournament benefiting SungateKids is BACK in 2022! Lumen will carry on their longstanding tradition of supporting SungateKids by inviting its vendors to participate in this fantastic 2-day golf and networking event.

Hosted by the Lumen executive team and attended by sponsors from around the country, this year’s event will kick off on Sunday, August 7th with a casual and fun opening reception and dinner at the Omni Interlocken Hotel outdoor pavilion.  The golf tournament will be held at the Interlocken Golf Club on August 8th.

SungateKids is extremely grateful for the support of our community partner, Lumen Technologies.

For the Children “UnGala”

We really hoped to get all dressed up again in November for our annual gala at the Four Seasons, but in the face of so many unknowns, we made the difficult decision to cancel our favorite event.

We are busier than we have ever been before, and dealing with more complex mental health issues than at any other time in our nearly three decades of operations.  Kids are struggling, their parents and caregivers are struggling; and we are working double-time to try to help them find solid footing – and begin to find their way toward healing and recovering.

Thanks to our loyal supporters, the UnGala raised nearly $125,000 which will allow our staff to continue the important work of helping victims of child abuse become survivors and thrivers.
