SungateKids’ three annual fundraisers are our single largest source of unrestricted funding.

Thumbs Up for SungateKids!

The 2021 Thumbs Up for SungateKids campaign was a huge success!  During the campaign, 11 teams competed against each other to see who could raise the most money. On Thursday, July 29th we celebrated a fundraising total in excess of $130,000 at Topgolf Centennial.

Thanks to everyone who donated during the month of July – you are helping us make our community a safer place for children.

An AMAZING Evening with Lumen and SungateKids featuring Mentalist, Colin Cloud!

Each year Lumen carries on their support of SungateKids by inviting its vendors to participate in the Lumen Charity Golf Tournament benefiting SungateKids.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions they were unable to hold the golf tournament in 2021, so instead, the Lumen team created a virtual event featuring Colin Cloud live from the Las Vegas Strip! Colin Cloud is a mentalist and forensic mind reader who is also known as the real-life Sherlock Holmes. Colin provided a magical hour of entertainment for all sponsors and participants that raised over $40,000 for SungateKids.

The golf tournament will be back for Lumen vendors in 2022, so mark your calendars for August 8th!

For the Children “UnGala”

We really hoped to get all dressed up again this Saturday for our annual gala at the Four Seasons, but in the face of so many unknowns, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our favorite event.  And we don’t believe anyone will be excited about jumping on Zoom for another fundraising event.

But… we are still open. We are busier than we have ever been before, and dealing with more complex mental health issues than at any other time in our nearly three decades of operations.  Kids are struggling, their parents and caregivers are struggling; and we are working double-time to try to help them find solid footing – and begin to find their way toward healing and recovering.

We can do a lot, but we can’t do it alone.  We need your help.  We wish we could come together to celebrate our successes – and there are many – but that is not our reality right now.  Our reality is that these children and families need our help, and we need yours.
